Working in Partnership with you

Our approach is to form partnerships with local employers who are interested in embracing diversity within their workforce and customer base. We are also contracted by the Employment Service and work with people referred to us by disability employment advisors. To help all participants get the most out of our service we also make use of a source of Government funding known as Workstep.

The Benefits for your Company We offer assistance to help you succeed in employing people with disabilities, for example we can:

» Provide advise on recruitment and training methods
» Offer workplace-based with training for employees, co-workers or supervisors
» Assist with applications for grants to overcome practical problems such as providing special equipment to suit workers' needs
» Organise disability awareness training
» Provide short-term assistance with funding of the new employee
» We work with employers and workers to sure that each new job start is completely successful

What if your job is threatened following disability?

Don't worry, you can still make use of our services.
We may be able to:

»  Assess your skills for relocation or retraining
»  Help support you whilst you get used to your new situation

AND REMEMBER!

This is not a training scheme, it is a real job!

We will work very closely with your employer to make sure you receive the support and training that you need.
Of course, once you've settled into your job we will gradually withdraw that support, but we'll always stay in touch, so we're there if you need us.
